Abigail Sims, MA, LPC, NCC, CCTP

Sometimes, we have behaviors we don't understand or like. I'm passionate about helping clients learn the root of their behaviors and heal their relationship to themselves and with others. I am committed to creating a safe, authentic environment where clients can always feel comfortable being who they are.

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a recent graduate of Liberty University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Ohio and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington. I have experience working with couples, families, individuals with PTSD and C-PSD, mood disorders, attachment and relationship issues. I am also a Certified Clinilca Trauma Professional.

I use a combination of CBT and psychodynamic therapy, with a massive focus on teaching self-regulation skills and providing psychoeducation on the central nervous system. I believe in the powerful connection between childhood and adulthood, with a focus on processing childhood woods and trauma. My passion in the therapy room is to create a safe space where all feel welcome to come as they are.
